Social Media Manager UNAA NSW

The United Nations Association of Australia (NSW Division) (UNAA NSW) is seeking a voluntary Social Media Manager to support its mission to Inform, Inspire and Engage. This remote, volunteer position is responsible for managing and growing the organisation's presence across key platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook). The Manager will support the delivery of the social media strategy, plan and schedule regular content, draft engaging posts, and monitor channels to respond to comments and messages professionally. This role requires collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Communications, and is a meaningful way to contribute to global causes like peace, human rights, and sustainability. The position is remote (NSW based) and requires an estimated commitment of 2–4 hours per week.

    • Commitment of approximately 2–4 hours per week (flexible).

    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends.

    • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.

    • Interest in the work of the United Nations and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
