World Food Forum Youth Policy Board
The World Food Forum (WFF), established by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations FAO, is inviting applications for its Youth Policy Board (YPB) 2026-2027 Cohort. The YPB is an independent group of change-makers responsible for providing a strategic, youth-led vision to the policy-related activities of the WFF Youth Initiative through the Youth Assembly. YPB members serve a one year term and lead activities in three primary areas:
Regional Work: Implementing the Global Youth Action Plan GYAP, developing surveys and consultations, and creating the 2026 Regional Youth Priorities document for intergovernmental processes.
Thematic Work: Leading consultations on key agrifood governance themes, developing position papers, and advocating for stronger youth inclusion in intergovernmental platforms.
Youth Engagement: Supporting wider WFF Youth Initiative activities to enhance meaningful youth participation globally.
The WFF strongly encourages the participation of underrepresented stakeholders, including women, farmers, and Indigenous Peoples.

Applications close 23 November 2025 at 11:59pm (CET/Rome time).
The Final Selection will be announced by 30 April 2026.
Term duration is the 2026-2027 Cohort.

Must be between 19 and 35 years old as of 30 April 2027.
Must have graduated from high school and be enrolled in or have completed a bachelor’s degree program.
Must demonstrate C1 level proficiency in spoken and written English.
Must dedicate approximately 25 hours per month to the role.
