Global Model UN Singapore 2026 Secretariat Recruitment

WFUNA is recruiting Secretariat members for the Global Model UN Singapore 2026 Conference, held from 11–15 August 2026 at the Suntec City Convention Centre in Singapore. This is an in-person international Model UN conference opportunity for university students or recent graduates aged 18–30 with experience in Model UN, conference staffing, communications, logistics, research, or chairing.

Secretariat members will help deliver the substantive, operational, and communications elements of the conference, with available roles including Conference Management Officer, Public Information Officer, and Chair. Participants can expect to gain hands-on experience in international conference delivery, diplomacy education, delegate support, procedural facilitation, media production, and cross-cultural teamwork. The role is suited to young people interested in international relations, the United Nations, global citizenship, youth leadership, and multilateral engagement.

Selected Secretariat members will receive shared accommodation, a WFUNA certificate, a welcome dinner, staff social, and a USD $400 travel stipend.

  • Prior Model UN experience is preferred

  • Previous experience staffing Model UN conferences is highly desired

  • Applicants must be available for pre-conference preparation and deliverables

  • Applicants must be able to attend the full in-person program in Singapore
