Climate 2000 Future Leaders: Community Outreach Role

Climate 200 is hiring for its Future Leaders: Community Outreach Role, an entry-level paid opportunity within its Community Outreach Calling Team. The role is suited to early-career applicants who are interested in climate action, democratic participation, fundraising, donor engagement, community organising, and Australia’s political landscape.

This is a remote, casual paid role supporting Climate 200’s donor and community engagement work ahead of the next federal election. Successful applicants will make calls to the Climate 200 community as part of coordinated fundraising and engagement campaigns, support donor care and retention, contribute insights from community conversations, and assist with broader fundraising and communications activities where needed.

Participants can expect on-the-job training and support in communication, message crafting, script development, donor engagement, and fundraising strategy. The role is especially relevant for young people looking to build practical experience in advocacy, political campaigning, for-purpose organisations, community development, fundraising, or civic engagement. Two vacancies are available, with potential pathways into other roles in the organisation.

    • Working hours are between 12:00pm and 6:30pm AEST

    • Role is casual and remote, for up to 3 days per week
