Client Consulting Internship in Melbourne

FactSet is offering a Client Consulting Internship, a 12-week paid program running from early December 2025 to February 2026. Interns will receive comprehensive training on the FactSet platform, learning how it supports the data and analytical needs of the global financial community. Alongside ongoing training, Interns will work closely with our Client Solutions Consulting team. Outstanding interns may be considered for a full-time position at FactSet upon completion of the program.

In this role, Interns will work alongside experienced professionals in the fintech sector, collaborate on exciting and challenging projects and delivering solutions, Learn about FactSet diverse client base, meet members of senior management and benefit from direct insights into the industry, participate in a comprehensive training program that combines seminars with hands-on assignments, be matched with a mentor from our Global Client Solutions team and engage in an independent project and present your findings to senior management at the end of your internship.

  • Education Requirements:

    • In your penultimate/final year of Bachelor’s study in Commerce, Business or Finance (or already a holder of a Bachelor’s degree).

    Visa & Work Authorisation: Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Visa 485 holder

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong communication skills with enthusiasm for client-facing work

    • Strong MS Excel knowledge and skills

    • Strong technical skills and the ability to provide creative solutions

    • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

    • Commercial attitude

    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
