Australian National Audit Office Internship 2025
The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) is inviting university students to register their interest for its 2025 Internship Program. This can be a crucial first step toward gaining a unique introduction to the work of the Australian Government. Successful candidates are employed on a casual basis (hourly rate of $35.39 plus 15.4% superannuation) with flexible working hours designed to accommodate study commitments. Internships are available across four key areas: Financial Statements Audit, Performance Audit, Performance Statements Audit, and Systems Assurance and Data Analytics. The work provides meaningful, real-world context by contributing to audits that enhance transparency, accountability, and integrity in government spending and decision-making.

To be eligible, applicants must be Australian citizens and currently completing an Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 qualification (Bachelor degree) or higher.
Applicants must be living in Canberra and able to commit an average of 15 hours per week, with an increase during university breaks.
