YAL Connect Scholarship

YAL Connect Scholarship

The YAL Connect Scholarships support young Australians aged 14–25 who face barriers to education by providing financial assistance and holistic support across both secondary and post-secondary levels. Offered by the Young Australia League, these scholarships recognise that access to education should never be limited by postcode, income, ability, or circumstance.

There are two main scholarship streams:
Upper Secondary: $3,000 per annum for students in Years 10, 11, or 12
Post Secondary: $8,000 per annum for young people aged 17–24 completing TAFE, university, or other post-high school education

Scholarships are local and national, with recipients gaining access to youth worker support, wraparound assistance, and a network of young changemakers across Australia.

  • Applications open 15 June 2025 and close 31 July 2025
