Social Media Officer World Food Forum Australia Youth Chapter

The World Food Forum Australia Youth Chapter (WFF AYC) is seeking a voluntary and unpaid Social Media Officer to help amplify youth perspectives in food and agriculture. WFF is a global, youth led initiative established by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), focused on addressing challenges across global agrifood systems and contributing to SDG 2 Zero Hunger. The Officer will report to the Marketing and Communications Manager and lead the development of compelling, on brand content to elevate educational campaigns, events, and opportunities for young Australians. Key duties include collaborating on content design for the executive team and divisions, refining the chapter's branding kit, and monitoring and compiling weekly wrap ups of agrifood opportunities. The time commitment is approximately 3 to 5 hours a week, or 15 hours per month.

    • Must be based anywhere in Australia and under 35 years old.

    • Able to commit approximately 15 hours per month (3 to 5 hours a week).

    • Proficiency in content creation (graphics, copywriting, basic video editing).

    • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools (Canva preferred).

    • Social media fluency (LinkedIn, Instagram preferred).

    • A keen eye for aesthetics and branding.

    • A genuine passion for sustainable food systems.
