Outreach Project Officer World Food Forum Australia Youth Chapter
The World Food Forum Australia Youth Chapter (WFF AYC) is seeking two unpaid and voluntary Outreach Project Officers to amplify youth voices in food and agriculture. WFF is a global, youth led initiative backed by the UN FAO. The primary focus of this role is the Youth Food Charter 2027, a national youth driven vision for more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient food systems, which will contribute to global conversations. Officers will be involved in all three project phases: planning and preparation (designing engagement tools), engagement and dissemination (conducting outreach and surveys nationwide), and analysis and development (synthesising feedback and drafting the final Charter). The role also involves supporting the development of Annual Reports, connecting youth led agrifood initiatives, and supporting partnerships. The time commitment is approximately 15 hours per month.

Must be based anywhere in Australia and under 35 years old.
Able to commit approximately 15 hours per month.
Experience in the Australian agrifood sector (study, volunteer, personal, or work experience).
Strong written communication skills for reports and proposals.
Experience in youth engagement, consultation, or community development.
Proficiency with survey and engagement tools (e.g., Google Forms, Typeform).
