Development Officer World Food Forum Australia Youth Chapter

The World Food Forum Australia Youth Chapter (WFF AYC) is seeking a voluntary and unpaid Development Officer to help grow its platform for young Australians in food and agriculture. WFF is a global, youth led initiative established by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), aiming to address critical challenges in global agrifood systems. The Officer will strengthen the Chapter's foundation by focusing on long term sustainability, including key responsibilities like stakeholder mapping, partnership development, grant writing, and supporting funding initiatives. This role is ideal for someone proactive and organised who can align Chapter activities with strategic goals. The time commitment is approximately 3 to 5 hours per week.

    • Must be based in Australia and under 35 years old.

    • Able to commit around 3–5 hours per week.

    • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset.

    • Passionate about youth led change and sustainable agrifood systems.

    • Experience with stakeholder engagement, grants, or community partnerships is an advantage.
