The Commission for Children and Young People Youth Council
The Commission Youth Council (CYC) is a group of diverse young Victorians aged 15–24 who actively shape the work of the Victorian Children’s Commission. Through regular fortnightly meetings, advocacy, and strategic projects, council members bring lived experience to key policy areas, such as child protection and youth justice. You’ll help design meaningful youth engagement, advise on major inquiries, generate youth-friendly resources, and influence decision-making to ensure the Commission is accessible, accountable, and youth-focused.
