Climate Change and Water Youth Advisory Group
The Climate Change and Water Youth Advisory Group, an initiative of the Australian Government's Office for Youth, provides a vital platform for young people to contribute to national environmental policy. Working in partnership with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, this group advises on crucial areas such as the implementation of the National Adaptation Plan, the identification of climate risks specifically impacting young Australians, and the development of a future National Water Agreement. This opportunity is for young people passionate about climate action and water management, offering them a direct channel to shape government strategies and ensure youth perspectives are integrated into environmental decision-making.
