Civic Engagement Youth Advisory Group

Civic Engagement Youth Advisory Group

The Civic Engagement Youth Advisory Group is an initiative by the Australian Government's Office for Youth, designed to empower young people to actively participate in Australia's democracy. The group focuses on helping young people understand their rights, how to have their voices heard, and how to drive positive change within their communities. Working in partnership with the Department of Home Affairs, this opportunity offers young individuals a platform to contribute to discussions and initiatives aimed at strengthening civic engagement among their peers. The intended outcome is to foster a more civically aware and active youth population, ensuring that young Australians can effectively influence decisions that impact their lives and society.
