Nonprofit Leadership Internship
The Borgen Project, an international organisation focused on improving living conditions for people impacted by war, famine and poverty through political advocacy, is offering a Nonprofit Leadership Internship. This is a remote, unpaid internship designed to provide insight into the key skills required to lead and develop a nonprofit. The role is a 12 week program with a time commitment of 12 hours per week; however, participants can complete the program sooner if their availability allows. Key areas of focus include Advocacy Leadership Development (meeting with government members and mobilising support for poverty reduction legislation), Fundraising Development (creating and running a campaign), Recruitment, and Marketing and Promotion (media pitching and social media strategy). New programs begin every month, and applicants choose their start month.
