WiDA & WIIS VIC International Women's Day

Women in Defence Association (WiDA) and Women in International Security Australia (WIIS-A) are partnering in Victoria to deliver their first Melbourne-based collaboration event for International Women’s Day. This is a gender-inclusive free event open to anyone connected to or interested in the defence sector and will explore the National Defence Strategy through the theme of “balancing the scales.”

This inaugural Victorian gathering will bring together people across the defence and national security ecosystem to connect, reflect, and contribute to accelerating progress toward gender balance, equity, and inclusive leadership. Attendees will gain insights from industry leaders through a panel discussion, build relationships across defense, government, industry, and academia, and connect with the WiDA–WIIS community and the broader Victorian defense network.
