Life as a Diplomat: Consul General of Japan

The Australian Institute of International Affairs Victoria (AIIA VIC) Young Professionals is hosting the fourth instalment of its 'Life as a Diplomat' series. The event features Furuya Tokuro, the Consul General of Japan in Melbourne, as the guest speaker. Attendees will learn about Consul General Furuya's career with the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussing the experiences and challenges that diplomats face, and discovering how young professionals can begin their journey in diplomacy. The event is held under the Chatham House Rule and is an opportunity to network with like-minded students and young professionals. This event will be held at AIIA’s office in Melbourne.
